This is a story about me,Lacey Jaye Rutherford.I was sixteen when I was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer,no one knew until it was too late to save my life.I was your average teen,lots of friends and a boyfriend.Loving parents,dad was a corporate lawyer and mom was a college professor.I had one sister who was two years younger than me,two brothers also younger,one was ten and the baby of the family was five.My parents names were Daniel and Heidi,my sisters name was Rayna Lee and my brothers Benjamin James and Daniel Craig.No one saw it coming,including me.I was sitting at my writing desk when I collapsed and was rushed to the hospital but it was already to late because I was pronounced dead on arrival.Follow my story through my journals.My journals start at the age of eight up until the day I died.
