This is the story of the land of Alderia. Alderia is a place of wonder and mystery. No one knows of how this land was formed or why it was differentiated this way. There is also something about Alderia that needs to be known. Alderia is split into 5 areas. Hyrule, Lionnes, Shyray, Ko'kuo, and Wyrain. Lionnes is a land of knights and Medieval Times. Shyray is the land of modern and is mostly like human society today. Ko'kuo is the land of the unknown, no one has dared to see what Ko'kuo holds except for those who were born there. Wyrain is the land of technology, with gadgets and anything far more advanced than anyone could ever believe to think of. And last but certainly not least, Hyrule, the land of elves, pixies, magiks, and witchcraft. These lands are ruled by different world leaders and are advanced in their own ways.

Avalon Isn't What It Used To Be
My mother says my endless curiosity and my need to venture is a curse. Though, I know she only says that because I'm just like my father; who went out to curb his appetite for new experiences and never came home. Do I feel abandoned? No. How could I? Not when I fully understand the craving... Fae almost never leave Avalon. It's rare, and normally Fae that leave Avalon are forced into exile. Hardly ever do they leave voluntarily. My mother hates to see me leave, and a part of me is ashamed to do so, seeing as I'm basically abandoning her like my father. But she has my baby brother, Almned, who isn't even 500 yet. And I'm one penalty away from serving time in the Avalonian Guardhouse. Which is ridiculous, considering I have only broken a few rules. Avalon used to be a vast place of freedom, a sanctuary for persecuted Fae, the Homeland where everyone had a voice. Well... Avalon is not what it used to be... Maybe the Otherworld will be big enough to spread my wings. *** What happens when a Fae leaves Avalon and befriends a Human? Yes, my book is rated mature. Though, it really isn't THAT bad. Karissa lived a calm life in South Town with her father, Peter. Upon her mother's death in her teens, she rebuilt herself, and lets her mother live on in her memories. As her 18th birthday approaches, she begins to have strange dreams. Her childhood best friend, Amanda, and their new friend Lorelei from the northern city of Irkah, one day overheard a conversation that will soon change their life forever.
