The land is dark. The sky is grey. The people are crying. Can you hear them?
Amorika was born into a land of death and sorrow. She has known no warmth from the sun, no relief from the wind, no calmness from a river's song. Such things do not exist in her world. In the fortress she lives in, there is no freedom for her. She has always accepted this, knowing that trying to leave would lead to a punishment worse than maybe death itself. But her seclusion has not kept her innocent of the horrors of the world forbidden to her.
The sorrows of the land have always come to her doorstep in the form of either the dead or helpless. Her father, the Dark King, makes sure that everyone within his rule knows what he is capable of; what he has been capable of for nearly a century. He lives in an immortal state, wrought from a war long since past, and the conquering of an enemy now considered myth. But the King knows his enemy still stirs.
He has forbidden Amorika from leaving his palace-fortress for he knows that she is the only one of his many children that has any chance of connecting with this old force, and thus give him a way to destroy it completely and live eternally.
At the age of twenty, Amorika begins to discover that her father's treatment towards her is more than it appears.. Following a path of clues left by a now deceased scholar, Amorika discovers that there is more history to the Great War of old than she ever thought. Within only a matter of days she finds herself running away from the one place she has known best, guided only by the words of a dead man and a mysterious force she had once considered to be myth. She runs to find the place where the Stag is still strong, knowing that she may be the only one capable of awaking the one person strong enough to rid the world of evil and it's crimson stain.

Harry suffers from a rare and debilitating condition that makes him almost immune to physical pain, and is seeking Camilla's help for a cure. Do you think I want you to?" His fists clench at his sides, breathing hard as he stares into my eyes with so much intensity that I want to look away. "No, I don't want to fix you. But you can't keep running from this." "Jesus Christ-" he mutters. In the blink of an eye, Harry closes the remaining space between our bodies and grabs my waist, pulling my chest to his. Without warning, he crashes his lips to mine with a mix of anger, desperation, and need. It's almost as if he didn't know what else to do with the mix of emotions raging inside of him. His Abused Mate by Kayla_Morrison

Most impressive rank: 1 - Fairytale *** Casey is all alone in the werewolf world, the only family she has left is her crazy dad. her mum died of cancer, causing her dad to go crazy and start beating Casey. What's worse is that she can't get away from the violence because when she goes to school they do the same. *** I close my eyes so I could listen and smell everything in case this was the last time I would ever be in this beautiful forest. I chase away any bad or worried thoughts because this place seemed so sacred it did not allow them. I breath in and catch the sweet scent of lavender flowers that speckled the ground in little clumps and the dry smell of dirt that hadn't been rained on in a couple of day. I listen to the steady titters of birds as they fly from tree to tree, collecting little twigs and leaves to build their nests with. I listen to the buzz of the bees greedily feasting on the flowers that scattered around the dry forest floor. I open my eyes to take in the scenery, rays of sunlight filter through the green canopy, penetrating through the leaves and casting a green-yellow effulgence over the ground that wavers as the trees rustle in the light whispers of wind. The crunching of dry leaves under my feet alert me so I cast my eyes to the floor and watch as I step on each individual leaf and dry twig, enjoying the snapping sounds that echo through the near silent forest. Gnarly roots dip into ground and twisted branches reach down, fingers grasping the air, as if reaching for me and I shiver, thinking of my father. I cast my eyes up to think of something else and instantly calm as another puff of breeze rustles the leaves on the trees and ground gently. I look ahead and notice the steady thinning of the old trees and run towards it, loving the feeling of the air in my air and clothes. I spot what I think is light dancing on waters surface and sprint for it. Then I break through the trees, making it to the lake.

!!!Undergoing Editing!!! *previously known as The Red Queen Effect* "It's strange what desires could make foolish people do. I'd never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you, And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you." ~ Wicked Game by Chris Isaak There were many times that I could remember hearing the stories about people falling in love or meeting their one true love. Stories that had allowed me to fantasize about meeting my true love, the one that fate had chosen for me. However, it seemed like it truly was never meant to be, according to my grandmother, "Love is a Queen's greatest weakness. Remember, my dear granddaughter, you are a Princess now but you will soon be a Queen who will rule with an iron fist and an empty heart." But was love truly a weakness? According to the stories that I have read and heard around the castle, love seemed to be something magical and incredible, especially if it was true love. So, how could someone determine it to be a weakness? It wasn't until I landed in Neverland that I had to find out the truth the hard way, in the most excruciating and heart-wrenching way possible. Yet, It was my fault after all, I decided to make a game out of it and someone else decided to use that to their advantage. If I was given the chance to change something from my past it would have been to prevent myself from all of the heartache that was to come. Maybe then I could have saved myself the trouble of having to rip out my own heart. But you know what they say, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." I am the daughter of the Evil Queen, the granddaughter of the former Queen of Hearts, there is no such thing as a happy ending for people like me. What a Wicked Game life plays. *Comments and votes are always welcomed. ** I do not own Once Upon A Time, only my characters Clara, Ravenna, Kingsley, and Flynn and any ideas for this story.

"Why are you all looking at me with such long faces?" I question slyly. Everyone looked at me with hate. He motions with his hand, soon more guards come piling in. Their guns were filled with wooden stacks, coated with sorrel and perilla. I roll my eyes. "How dumb have you become, dear? Don't you know a tribrid like me can't be killed?" I laugh shortly. "What is it you want, Octavia?" He questions, glaring at me, holding his glass of champagne tightly. I smile, "Sweetie, you know exactly why I'm here. I've come for what's mine, hand it over so I don't have to kick your ass in front of all these people." The crowds start laughing, along with him. His deep laugh echoed through the room. "What makes you think you can beat me? What can a little thing like you do?" I take a tray from the nearest waiter and grab the last glass of champagne, downing it. Sighing, I wipe my mouth, dropping the glass, allowing it to shatter on the ground. I hold the tray tightly, I throw it like a frisbee, slicing the head of a guard clean off. The tray sticks in the wall, while the head slowly falls off the tray. "Now?" I ask sweetly, feeling my eyes glow. My Last Breath (Book one of The Portal Series) by Chinesechickens123
63 parts Complete Mature
BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.

"Mine." His low growl of possession took my heart and the fate of my panties. They were soaked through with arousal. Damn it. I stroked his face as he sniffed the air. I prayed he couldn't smell my body's reaction to his. His hand slipped from my waist and traveled to the rip in my dress. "I can smell how much your body craves mine." My breath catches as his hand finds it home at the front of my panties. "Why don't you just submit yourself to me? Accept that you are mine and mine alone?" His hand was traveling lower, and he found my clit rubbing it through my underwear. I couldn't help but lean my head back and moan out at his skillful administration on my pussy."Moan, my name, my innocent mate. Tell everyone who is making you feel this pleasure."He had ripped my underwear off me and threw them across to hit another tree. He propped me up against the tree, causing me to hold onto his shoulders for support as his fingers took advantage of my spread legs, my dress completely exposing my pussy to him."Absolutely Ravishing."
