Aaren Wolfe is one of the Infected, and she wants to keep a hold on her humanity while she still has it, as the virus urges her to feed on flesh. She hasn't seen either of her friends since she became Infected, and she doesn't want to for fear of wanting to feed. In this apocalyptic world she has to figure out her own way to not become like the rest of the infected.
