James and Lily are finally civil but Lily finds herself feeling something more that she can't keep denying. Remus is drowning himself in school work, blaming the upcoming NEWTs, but Sirius isn't convinced, could there be another reason for his constant avoidance? Meanwhile, a new arrival in school has easily made friends with all her fellow Gryffindors... except Marlene: determined to befriend the newbie, Marlene insists on spending more and more time with her. There could be more to all these friendships, but with the stress of NEWTS and a potential war on the horizon, will love blossom, or is it too dangerous to keep loved ones close? Mainly Jily, but wolfstar and Marlene x fem!oc slowburn fluff as secondary love plot lines :)
