When Azael Mephirt, the torture demon runaway from Hell, takes a young girl named Bonnie under his care, they must run away from the dangers of their past lives. 

Azael must run away from his brothers and sisters trying to take him back to Hell and put him on the throne.

Bonnie's family is in debt and when her parents die, she is left alone to pay back what she owes to the gang and in a desperate attempt to escape she moves in with Azael, who she finds on the street of Manhattan. 

Both of them need a fresh start, but their past will always be there to haunt them.
