Dakota Storm West makes a simple mistake. A mistake that cost her the plans she made for summer while her twin brother/best friend Lane is gone leaving her at home with the rest of her family. Dakota is overwhelmed by the weight of past mistakes and her lack of friends. Then he shows up.
A friend of her brothers moves into their spare bedroom and he becomes intrigued by Dakota. The reckless, feisty girl that no one seems to understand, and Dakota isn't having it.
