We all know Ted as the office asshole who would throw anyone under the bus to save his own skin. But no one is born mean; there's always a backstory, usually involving heartbreak and lots and lots of booze.
This is that backstory: a look back at Ted Bauer, before he became our favorite grumpy Borat impersonator. Enjoy!
(also sidenote, I know that nick keeps teasing that ted's last name is important, and that implies that ted will play a larger role in the future, but for the purposes of this story we will pretend that the whole hatchetfield lore begins and ends with TGWDLM. so ted and his last name shall remain thoroughly unimportant from here on out in this particular story. thanks!)
