The land of Leenstand was a poor land ruled by a corrupt king and a few nobles who kept all the riches for themselves. Even though in this land there was evil beyond this era's imagination, there was also good in this evil. The king couldn't tell the difference between the good and the evil, he had only heard of his own land dying under his, as he put it "victorious" rule that had been too long, about 1000 years too long actually.
