"Humor me, Lilith," Says Lucifer, blinding white teeth on full display. His eyes poured into me as he knelt on the ground, staring up at me with the same look I've come to despise these past few hundred years. "Surely we both know you have no idea which side of that blade to even use."
"Why, is that fear hidden behind your eyes?" A laugh erupts from my chest as his smile fades, irises dilating to paint his eyes the darkest shade of black. I press the sharp end of the knife against his throat, my mouth beginning to water as the pleasurable sight of blood trickling down his neck begins to play out. "I will not succumb to you nor anyone else any longer, Lord Satan, for you have already surrendered your life away."
"You can't kill me even if you wanted to." He speaks through gritted teeth, fists clenching at his sides. I press down harder, earning a hiss in pain from the Devil himself. My smile only grows, mind drowning in euphoria at the sight of him in pain; at the sight of his vulnerability.
Thousands of his followers surrounded us, watching us both intently on the edge of their seats. I had them right where I wanted them, witnessing the execution of their beloved king. They were all silent, the only sound being the screaming of the burning souls from the distance.
With my free hand, I snatch the Crown of Thorns from his head, flinging it across the court. I do the same with the knife, placing one hand under his jaw and the other on top of his head.
"Watch me."
