This story is set after the defeat of Calamity Ganon. Link, one of the five chosen Champions of Hyrule, is faced with the aftermath of all the events that have played. From waking up in the Shrine of Resurrection, to losing his memories and regaining him again, has left him with not only physical scars, but also mental scars. The latter is what he is facing upto now. He spirals into a depression and the accompanied suicidal thoughts. After an incident, he is forces to be guarded by Leon, the second best knight in Hyrule. Zelda is faced with not only restoring Hyrule, but also saving her knight from himself. It proves a difficult task, as she visits the leaders of the differend places in her kingdom. Link's emotions spiral out of control and every place triggers them. Are Zelda and Leon up for the task to help their hero. Or is this a demon they just can't seem to defeat?

Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past. This is the Story of Link becoming the Hero of the Wild. The Hero of Hyrule, and foremost the biggest Talk all over Hyrule. He was the strongest and best warrior, and it's obvious to anyone who knows Link, not everyone does, unfortunately. Even the person he has to protect with his life, later on, doesn't know him and only troubles his life even more. Having to fight against all the people you swore to protect is hard but Link can do it. Right? The characters are not owned by me they are from Nintendo, also this Story will play before the Calamity and it will also be a lot different than the original game. There is a similar (yet very different) idea written as a Story by @HylianAtHeart the Story is called "The Origin of a Champion" and it's one of the best Storys I've ever read. So check it out.

Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon.
