When I walked out, I couldn't hold the excitement of the bread I got. About to devour some now, I almost trip as I heard a noise behind me.

I turn and find no one...nervous now, my appetite went away and I start to rush a little faster.
...Till I heard another noise, but louder this time.
I stopped in my tracks as someone jumped in front of me, the lamp post not hitting them, I only gasped in surprise and got goosebumps.

"Didn't mean to scare you..."
I backed away a little when I noticed he came walking a little closer...now find it to be Chat Noir.
I couldn't say anything, just griped my bag of bread tighter and found him now in front of me.
"...I assume you got off work?"

"Uh...Yes."
He smiled and I only felt a little shaken, "...I should get going."
I try walking away but, "...hey,"
I turn around and find him extending his hand again to me, "Let me take you home."

Adrien had gotten into one of the biggest arguments he had ever had with his father, leading him to run from his home as his alter ego, Chat Noir. They had grown apart since his mother's disappearance. Adrien always tried to speak with his father and try but he was always busy or away. He finally snapped at his father. But where would he go for the night? He had to find someone he could trust. Marinette wasn't expecting Chat Noir to show up on her balcony with red eyes filled with tears. Her first thought after seeing him was the akumatized version of him, Chat Blanc. She immediately brings him inside, making it her job to help him. She was not going to let her partner become her worst nightmare. He needed some place to feel safe? She would become that. It became an everyday thing. Chat Noir would visit Marinette every day, they would talk about their days as Chat tried to keep his as dense as possible to not reveal his identity. They would play video games and eat food from the bakery. But what happens when something happens to Marinette that makes her break? Marinette has no where to go so Chat decides to be that place.
