Baby doesn't believe in love. She's lived alone with her mom since she was little and resides in a tinier than tiny town in the Midwest. That's until she's shipped off to Seattle to spend her senior year with her dad and his new wife. Knowing what he put her mother through and seeing him with his new family just affirms her belief that love is a joke. Then, she meets Brooks, and everything changes.
