I wrote this in the summer of 2014, right after graduating 8th grade. I went to a Catholic school, so I felt as if everything was changing. I was still going to be attending a Catholic high school, but without most of my friends. It was a tough time for me, going from a class of 44, and trying to grasp the fact that my new class would have 350 people in it. The second chapter was a few months later.

The characters are entirely fictional: while I've envisioned the male lead distinctly, the female lead shares some similarities with me. This story revolves around a sweet high school romance between two top students. The male lead is an egoistic character who unexpectedly falls for a girl who often battles self-doubt and has a quick temper. I'm eager to explore how these two meet and develop a beautiful relationship filled with love and friendship, ultimately becoming each other's unrecognized source of support.
