Lauraine's Cowboy.

"Will you tell me a story Mama?" Johnny asked.

"What kind of story Sweetheart?"

"One 'bout how you met my Pa."

Daniel Thompson was a true cowboy; rough, calloused, and wild. He was ruggedly handsome and every female that came in contact with him swooned over his looks. All of them except for one - Lauraine Mills.

Lauraine was a little rough around the edges and not what most of them fancy women called a 'lady.' She wasn't in to the fancy dresses and big hats. She enjoyed spending time with her family on their small farm. She was content with being alone and she made it clear she wasn't wanting a man.

The two meet and it's like mixing oil and water. There's no whirlwind romance love story in the beginning, but over times and obstacles they realize God made them for one another.

Ten years later they're happily married with a six year old boy named Johnny. A tragic accident hits Daniel and not even Doc Hollingsworth knows if he'll pull thru. In bed that night Johnny requests that his Mama tells him the story of how she met his Pa.

Her mind takes her back ten years to that dusty little town in Texas and just how she wound up falling for Daniel; her cowboy.
