The Fog

A fatal virus, Imazoia, formed within the water contaminating all who drank it. The virus spread rapidly due to the pipes being a main source of water. Chaos stormed over the planet as thousands and millions became fatally ill within hours. The virus spread so rapidly that even scientists didn't have the time to produce a cure. This created the Wakers, the immune left to defend themselves with what remains.

Due to global warming the Ice Caps were melting, this caused Bacteria unknown to scientists to be released, hundreds of thousands of years old. It was quick and spread rapidly killing humans within three days. Once the host was dead parasites started growing at an alarming rate eating there hosts. Only certain humans were Immune, and their blood could also kill these parasites that could grow up to 8 feet high. The Earth was healing itself from an infestation and mother nature was repairing itself.

Two centuries after The Dry Plague, the world is a very different place. People are relegated to life in the Domes, and Nature is left alone.

Scientists in the CDC lab try to genetically enhance a virus known as the Zika virus to try and fully understand how it was caused and how it can be stopped. The experiment was tested to far from its limits and became a deadly virus that is now air borne spreading it to anyone it came into contact with. The government tried to contain it, but it became to powerful to hide from the world, and the virus turned anyone it came into contact with, into man eating monsters. A virus is was what caused our world to break, what caused the good to become the bad. Kids were being hunted down and captured for this gift that was given to them by that virus. It's been seven years. Parents tried to hide them, but they got killed and took the gifted. No child was safe, from five year olds to basically eighteen. It's the apocalypse for us. You can't trust adults. We don't know why they want from us, but I'm willing to do anything to protect my her. Some gifts are stronger than others, some are weaker than others, some are out of their own control. We don't know why the military wants us but, their not getting us. I'll avenge my mom and dad, they'll rest in peace. I'll protect anyone that needs protecting, I'll avenge every live that was lost.

Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.

[Book 3] People say things can change drastically in just a couple years. I couldn't agree more. In just a few years I went from a regular kid in high school, to Ruler of a zombie species. Of course for everyone else, it was much more than a few years, it was three hundred to be precise. Once the Crawlers wiped themselves out all that long ago, we thought it was over, that Humans would regain control of the planet and things would soon go back to normal. We were wrong. After another man tried to wipe out the human race, it was made apparent that even the original Crawlers may not have died out. They're more illusive than their ancestors, it is unclear whether this entails their danger or not.

Rain. What do you think of when you hear that word. Do you think of a relaxing day, where you're laying in your comfy bed as you listen to the droplets peck at your window. Or, do you imagine playing in a big rain puddle with your friends until you are all soaking wet. Well, nowadays, rain does not mean anything but danger. In a world where giant beasts rise from the ground only when it storms, havoc erupts. Many died trying to fight off the toad-like beasts. But even though some died, some didn't. A big group of survivors made refuge in an abandoned high school and called it "The Oasis". Everything was fine for a few years until a long foreseen nightmare came to life. There was no more food, and a huge rain filled cloud was on its way to shield the sun. Hope was almost lost, until a group of four brave individuals decided to leave the safety of The Oasis and bring the food that they need back home. Will they succeed in there journey, or will the perish in the attempt?

What happened after the wnd of the world? thought thwre would be an explosion, but it's just the end of the world as we know it, and I don't feel fine.
