Sasusaku Oneshots

"Sakura".
Startled jade eyes ran frantically across the thick foliage above and finally focussed upon his face. He rested one knee next to the makeshift pillow of dry grass wrapped in an old rag, lightly brushing the short pink hair fanning over it. Kneeling close to her groggy face, awoken from a deep sleep, he whispered:
"We have visitors."

After the Fourth Great Ninja War, Sasuke travels to seek knowledge and redemption. But when he takes Sakura, the pink-haired medical ninjutsu prodigy and his former teammate with him on one such journey, can it kindle something more in his already thawing heart for her?

Kishimoto has been very conspicuously silent about how these two characters, shipped by many fans from the beginning, come together and finally get married. The only hint that has been given is that it happens during a journey that they both embark on after the 4th Great Ninja War. This is my take on what happened during this journey and how their romance blooms.
