Lost In The Woods

I ran deeper into the forest, I could hear his footsteps. My heart was thumping loudly in my chest, adrenaline was pulsating through my body I was forcing my legs to run although I knew he was gaining on me. I quickly hid behind the tree, and I heard him stop.

"Sweetheart I can hear your breathing. You want to play the game, so let's play. But remember if I found you, you will be my next victim." He laughs evilly.

I covered my mouth to stop the whimpers that were escaping and breathed slowly. I felt a prick on my neck and my vision turned cloudy. "Gotcha," He said when I blacked out.

Kate is adamant to find the monster who had brutally murdered her sister. Murders are taking place in a similar manner in the town.

The murderer is leaving hints and clues on the sites, which Kate follows and ends up in a dangerous game of chess. She soon realizes that she was just the pawn in his game.
