Twilight Sparkle is a smart girl. She excels at all her academic studies and is proud to admit that she is at the top of her class. This comes at the cost of having social life, so it's a good thing she dismisses friendship as frivolous nonsense anyways. But when she is recognized for her high grades and receives a scholarship to a prestigious boarding school, Golden Oaks Academy, Twilight Sparkle is forced to confront several diverse students whom want just that. 

Toss in a surprising class president race, thick dorm drama, an eerily supernatural mean girl, and a dig through the academy's muddied past and things can't get any more bizarre... right?

Join Twilight Sparkle in her struggle for harmony, both community and internal, and for the answer for the spotlight question: is friendship truly magic?
