❝ those stormy eyes, the ones that has a constant whirlwind of torture, pain, and hurt in them. They were dangerous, not a single soul would dare look into them for too long, or else his constant pain, would be flooded over you. Even with a glance, it could send a shiver down your spine. It's when the lighting strikes, sending the innocent tumbling to the ground, their heart clenching and their blood turning ice cold. That lighting that could kill. It was like there was no end to this madness, no end to the lies that he keeps telling himself. Those lies that masks his secrets, his stories, and his vulnerability. There was not an ounce of truth in his words. But his eyes said it all. They were such intriguing things, just two orbs that behold a deadly colour that no one had understood. Till the day, a different colour was met with his. Green ❞ Two high school students, one story. One that never held back, the other too scared to let go. With the strange twist of events and the mischievous course of life, the two find each other, swearing that they wouldn't even dare fall for them. She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. He has countless tattoos covering his body. And he doesn't care about anything or anyone else.
