It's over. Voldemort is dead. After years of working to stop him, and risking his life to hunt down Horcruxes, Harry Potter finally managed to finish him off. The ministry is now in the hands of Kingsley Shacklebolt, the most capable Auror Harry can imagine, and for the first time, Harry truly feels like he can live a normal life. So what's next?
(Note: This is an AU, so the events of the epilogue nineteen years in the feature don't happen, though most details are relatively similar to how JK Rowling said they would be. This is my take on what would happen after the war, and what sort of things Harry would end up getting into next.)

Death's Gift
After the war, Harry distances himself from everyone, feeling empty. He spends a year having locked himself up in Grimmuald Place, consumed with guilt. When he's finally drawn from his Godfather's, now his, home by the Weasleys, Hermione appears at his front door with urgent and unsettling news. Harry realizes the hidden horrors of his years at Hogwarts and, together, Harry and his friends formulate a plan to level the playing field. Though, when it inevitably all goes sideways, Death reveals himself to Harry and offers him a once in a lifetime opportunity. Will he take it? -- WARNINGS: 1. It gets more complicated mourning over his dead twin, George. Hermione convinces the boys to return to Hogwarts before they take a job as Aurors. Ron decides to pursue his desire in being an Auror instead. Meanwhile, Draco tries to prove himself innocent to Harry and the gang.
