Jolie's lived with her foster mom, Amber, for 3 years now. She struggles with paying the bills, and caring for  Ambers kids, all while enduring her abuse.
Amber uses the money she gets from the state to feed her addiction.
Jolie is barely getting by with her job, and has very little cash on the side to pay for food. 
Jolie's best friend, Cassie, starts getting more and more worried about Jolie as she starts to change for the worse.
Life unravels, leading her on the path to homelessness, and she sinks into depression.
