Adelina Martinez isn't your average teenage girl. She doesn't like to shop, despises dresses with a passion, and is NOT interested in boys as anything more than friends, yet. Instead she's a risk taker with an attitude who doesn't seem to fit in.
After a terrible accident, her mom decides she needs to start anew. A new town, a new home and a new job. A teenager doesn't fit into her plans and Adelina is forced to go live with her estranged grandmother, who is determined to shape her granddaughter into a proper young lady. Afraid of change, Adelina refuses to make friends and tries to push others away, but those that she does let in see much more than she ever intended.
Can she keep her past and her secrets to herself? Or will she have to open up and invite people in?
