Hooked Up
Avery Alderidge has it all: a sweet boyfriend, tons of great friends, a loving family. She's fierce and popular, and has just started at her first-choice college near home. But then tragedy strikes and her world falls apart. A year later and still recovering from the devastating accident, Avery has a hard time letting people in. That includes her older brother's best friend, Landon, who has just moved in. They hate each other, always butting heads, but it all changes when they find themselves in a compromising situation. ***** "I see you're going as a slut, then." Ouch. Takes one to know one. The Group Chat
This story is based off of actual conversations my friends and I have in our group chat. It all started with a simple crush. Maybe this all would have been avoided if said crush wasn't sitting at the same table as me and all the friends I wanted to talk to about him. Then Avery came up with the perfect solution: just make a group chat with everyone at the table except him! Brilliant... right? Follow the wonderful (and sad) story of my friends and I as we have GIF wars, see kidnappers, and tp houses. This story is based off of the group chat conversation, but NOT ALL OF THIS STUFF ACTUALLY HAPPENED. You'll understand why I want to make this abundantly clear soon.Concluida
The Tale Of The Brit And The Bad Boy
Meet Cherry, the girl who really isn't much of a girl to be completely honest. She's nice, cheerful, cheeky in an incredibly childish way, is a looks-like-a-kitten-but-is-actually-a-tiger type person. She has a twin brother that drives her totally nuts and a mother that is caring but will laugh in your face when you get told off by the school's headmaster. Upon finding out about her father's promotion overseas in Florida, her life takes a wild turn, for better but also for worse. Now meet Brett, the guy who thinks he's a big bad boy, when really, he is the looks-like-a-tiger-but-is-actually-a-kitten type person. Typical, I know- the female protagonist of this strangely typical cliche story agrees. Put the two of them together, and what do you get? Mayhem, that's for sure. --- *READ AT YOUR OWN RISK* - THIS STORY IS CURRENTLY UNDER EDITING -Concluida

undeniable
He's smirking down at me as he says, "Um, you're in my seat." I laugh and say, "You realize that is the most cliche thing you could possibly say?" He looks confused so I elaborate. "It's the first day of school and you're coming up the new girl, claiming I'm in your seat. Sorry, but it's not very original." He huffs and rolls his eyes. "Get out of my seat, sunshine." "Watch it happen, pretty boy." I reply, smirking as I stuff my other earbud back in. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Madeline Lace is the youngest of six, the older five being all brothers. Her brothers love her, but due to their pathetic excuse for a father, their overprotective nature spirals into straight up helicopter parenting. Getting a fresh start by moving away from the bad memories, they're bound to run into a few new problems. One of which being their cocky, self-assured next door neighbor who isn't too discreet about taking an obvious liking towards Maddie. Her hope that he'd give up and leave her alone diminishes when his dorky personality starts to shine through, growing on her. The easy option would be to ignore the obvious attraction, but then again, it's hard to deny the undeniable. -------------------------- thank you to @meha-k for this amazing cover!Concluida
The Bad-Boy Saw Me Naked
Avery and Josh were complete oppisites. Josh was a little badass. Barely, passable grades, rude additude, tattoos, piercings, and a wall built so hard, not even Miley Cyrus's wrecking ball could tear it down. Avery, or Avy to her friends, was a goody- two shoes. Straight A student, nice to everyone, class president, cheerleading captain, and perfect daughter. Until Josh moved next door... She had come out the shower and her towel was off. Her favorite song came on and she started dancing. And Josh was at his window. And was staring at her birthday suit... ********* for clarification purposes.. i wrote this book when i was 13. it's been almost 7 years later now, i turn 20 this year (2020) more than half the book sucks but i'm too lazy to rewrite and edit it. i'm so sorry for anything cringey and inappropriate. i have no idea how it's gotten so popular throughout the years. many apologies. enjoy what you can ! lots of love. - AK ************* highest rankings so far 1 in bad boy next door ! 1 in teen drama ! 1 in teen romance !Concluida

With A Cherry On Top
Charvi Brooks, hiding under a wig and glasses as Avery Adams to work and get money for college, is found out by quarterback, Zane Rivers and gets sucked into his world as he protects her from her stalker, Jaxon who also found out this secret. I begged with a pout and faux doe eyes. "Pretty please." He flashed me his prettiest smile and teased, "With a cherry on top." Charvi Brooks is a simple girl from a complex family. All she ever cared about was having enough money to go to college. Living a double life, what could go wrong? Except from a certain someone finding out her secret. Zane Rivers, quarterback and team captain, most popular guy in school and Charvi only knows him as Zed. But in her defence, he calls her Cherry due to the mop of red hair on Avery's head. He was the worst person she thought could find out about her secret, but she realized how wrong she was when Jaxon, a young man infatuated with her second self, found her out too. She thought having to live a double life was bad, but having a stalker who would stop at nothing to get her was worse. And speaking of complex family, things worsen when her father moves back to town with his new picture-perfect family in tow. Imagine her, her mom, her three siblings, her father, his new wife and her stepbrother and stepsister under one roof. Talk about a large family. And who she had by her side through it all is someone she would have never expected. Could she help the feelings? When these two clash, what could possibly come out of it? **** This is an edited version of my book, "My Forever". The story line remains the same, but some of the plot has been cut out and some things added. You can still read the original book if you want because I am not taking it down, but I strongly recommend this. Finished: 14 July 2023.Concluida
Candid
We've always been told to think before we speak, so as not to offend anyone. Maddie Hayes is over it. No matter what is said, someone is going to get offended. She just doesn't care anymore. For someone who grew up with five older siblings, Maddie has never felt more alone. Now that they're all out of the house and starting their own families, that loneliness has manifested into anger at the feeling of being abandoned. Madeline was never supposed to be the 'good girl'. From the years of sarcasm, she's learned from watching her older siblings, Maddie is 'that girl,' the girl that everyone envies, who can make you cry with just a look. But maybe her life isn't so great as she wants everyone to believe. Maybe she's tired of being forgotten by her older siblings; maybe she's angry because her parents work too much or that her friends would never actually be there for her if things got tough. Maybe she's just sick of all the bullshit.Concluida

In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "You know damn well what I mean." "I don't know what you're talking about." I pretend to ignore him, flipping some pages in my book. "Come on. I have all these assignments waiting. Aren't you supposed to teach me tonight?" "It depends on what you want me to teach." He smirks, his voice sounding even more dangerous. ***** I thought that my brother was the most popular guy in school, but as soon as I step into my university life, I realize how wrong I was. Meet Vaughn Cooper, his best friend. The guy is the epitome of every girl's dream. Godlike handsome. The quarterback. He's got the looks, and he's got the brain. Come on, he's got the scholarship to one of the most prestigious universities in the country, while I have just barely passed the entrance examination after long years of struggle during high school. How could a guy who worked that hard and deserves nothing more but adoration be labeled as a bad boy? Yeah, the answer is simple. The moment we lock eyes, I realize something as I stare into those piercing, amber eyes. He's not every girl's dream. He's every girl's nightmare. In my case, MY nightmare. Calm down, heart.
