Allison is considered one of those lucky rich Indiana high school senior. Everyone only sees what is called "the good side" of her life. At home, she has a mother that only cares about herself; a dad, who is never home due to working all the time; and, a sister, who looks nothing like her but she dearly loves. She feels lost as its her lost year of high school but everything will be okay, according to her boyfriend. She can always count on him. Or she thought she could. Her life quickly turns around as she finds out secrets that her family and friends have been hiding. Around the same time she meets a guy, Harry, who she thinks she knows him but does not know the real reason why he is around. If she even knew the reason why this guy, Harry, was around she would be broken even more.
