I'd had my life laid out for me.
I was going to go to college, get a job, have a family- I was going to live a normal life.
No- a boring, predictable, stable life.
But when an old man appears in my dreams and pushes me off of a boat, submerging me into reality, everything changes.
I'm told that everything I know about my mother isn't true. That she had some hidden life. And although I didn't want to believe it, something inside me wants to uncover the truth, to know more.
Something inside of me is tired of routine, and stability, and I find myself agreeing to stay and train.
With the ninja in my life, my future becomes anything but normal.
It becomes unpredictable, exciting.
And I don't know if I'm ready.
But I know that I'm sure as hell excited.

They discover they possess elemental powers, and master the art of Spinjitzu to combat the Serpentine threat, although Y/n has not unlocked said elemental powers, yet. * * * All your life you knew the Brookstones.(IK that's not their real last name, but it sounds better then 'Bucket', soooo) and for the longest time, the Brookstones son, Cole was your best friend. And what felt like forever, you had a crush on him, but you didn't want to tell him, out of fear he didn't feel the same way. (In this story, when Cole goes away he isn't found by Sensei Wu till after you.) When one day, you went over to his house, and his Dad said that he had gone away to the Marty Oppenheimer School of the Art's, which didn't sound right. After a few months, weird stuff started happening to you. One day, you were approached by an old man, claiming that you were an Elemental master, and that you needed to train to be a ninja. At first you were sceptical, but after some thought, you went with him. After about a month, the man said he wanted you to meet some other people like you. You didn't know what you expected, but you didn't expect Cole to be one of the people you were to meet.
