Agent 8, is a helpless and naive octoling who just made it to the surface of Inkopolis Square. She's the newest member of the New Squidbeak Splatoon. Agent 3, is a serious, and no-nonsense squid, who will stop at nothing to finish her mission. She bumps into an inkling boy in Inkopolis, and notice that the boy is Agent 3! Agent 3 was hijacked back in the Deep Sea Metro when she was trying to escape. It's been 4 years since Three saw Eight, and she's getting pretty depressed by that. The fact that the team just recovered from the "Fuzzy goo invasion", and being promoted to captain, isn't really helping much with the captain's personal problems. But when Eight seems to go missing, and there are reports of an invasion where she lives, Captain Three starts getting worried. DISCLAIMER: I have not played the latest splatoon game yet, so NO SPOILERS PLZ. Everything here that relates to the game is pure speculation from the trailer.
