When a series of suspicious deaths occurs all seeming to involve socks as the murder weapon, a local deputy thinks he knows what is happening, because he's seen it happen before. The trouble is, nobody believes him or understands that what he is saying is the key to their very survival. 

Deputy Ray Chambers knows something has to be done. Socks are killing people, just like one killed his older brother so many years ago. It's only going to get worse unless something is done. 

Getting the town council to go along is another matter altogether. The annual sock festival is coming up and the council can't conceive of canceling it. Big tourism dollars are at stake. Not to mention the sock factory on the hill is the largest employer in town and what they say goes. He ought to know, it's the family business, the business Ray Chambers turned his back on all those years ago. After his brother's death at the hand of a mid-calf reinforced heel and toe white cotton tube sock, Chambers swore off socks of any kind. Now he doesn't even wear them.

Chambers knows if he can't convince the town fathers that danger is coming then disaster looms in the form of comfy footwear made on a loom.

Money talks and his warnings go unheeded. Left with no options, he is forced to go it alone and stay on high alert. Sure enough, when disaster strikes at the festival, panic ensues. The deputy makes a desperate attempt to get everyone to safety, hold up in the local high school gym. Everyone can only ponder their horrific losses and how Deputy Chambers could have been so right. 

Out of options, Ray Chambers has only one choice, face his fears and take action by taking the fight to the socks. Will he discover the socks' weakness? Can he stop them in time? But not before they run into something, what they assumed as a man dressed in a heavily damaged, rabbit suit who almost killed them for nearly running into him. But with quick thinking, they avoided him, and it resulted in the rabbit facing the people they had been running from. But as the man in the rabbit suit killed the people chasing the women, that had not gone unnoticed by one of the girls as she thanked him from a distance. But it wouldn't be the only encounter, as things grow more dangerous with the coming winter. And he becomes intrigued by her, given the fact she has a strong will to survive, no hesitation in defending herself and has zero care that this person in the suit seemed to be more dead than alive. Something her friend points out multiple times. But this connection becomes a danger in itself. As this man is no stranger to death and danger, but nor is he a stranger to wanting to keep things for himself. Especially after losing everything he's had, he will not lose her either. Especially when the sins of his past follow him. And discover his new interest in this woman to the point where they will cause harm to her to continue the torment and pain of one William Afton.

Raymond hadn't taken five steps when the sack suddenly moved. He froze instantly and his skipping heart started running a hundred meter race. He tried to bring down his fear by blaming the wind for the occurrence but the sack moved again, very softly, and he knew that whatever is inside that sack is responsible for the movements. He discarded his fear and moved towards the sack. He looked around in utmost fear hoping that some of the scenes in Hollywood movies would not manifest; where police men would round up good Samaritans assuming them to be murderers. The environment was utterly dark and he could not see anything asides bushes. He reached down and pulled down the loose top of the sack and what manifested before him was the face of a human being. His heart almost stopped from fear as his prediction had become reality. Raymond's breathing was not coordinated at all and he had gone pale. The face was slightly covered with mud but the entire hair was immersed in it. From the hair, he knew it had to be a girl so he pulled the sack down to the waist line of the body with his shivering hands. He looked up and nearly died of fright when he met the eyes of the girl slightly open and in his direction. He started wondering if she was a spirit or a witch sent to kill him but then he saw how pale she looked and warded off his vague thought. He glimpsed a thick mass of blood on her stomach and winced internally. She started moving uncomfortably and seemed to be doing that unconsciously. He hurriedly pulled out the sack and threw it into the bush. Without even considering the risk of picking her up, he whisked her into his arms and made for his car. Raymond is already frustrated with his relationship with Tinuke his fiance but can't end it..... Not until he met Lucy in a sack.
