Darkness is falling. And it has pulled Freya Ericsson out of her everyday college life and into the realm of the Norse Gods.
During their hunt for what the Dark Elves call The Amethyst, Malekith decides to take Freya along with them for reasons only he knows. They leave earth, and continue their search on Asgard. Saved by none other than Loki, the God of Mischief himself (but only because he was forced to), this pit stop leads to Freya waking up, battered and bruised in the healing wing, with a worried Thor staring at her.
As she journeys through the world she thought was a myth, Freya learns things she never thought she would...things about herself, things about her family. An angry, mischievous God wants her dead, or does he? She really has no idea. The only thing she does know, though, is that Malekith wants her back, and this time he has no intention of losing her.

Asgard was once a happy place for Freya but after her mother was murdered everything seemed dark and sluggish. Freya lived with her horrible neighbours for a while as she had nowhere else to go, or so she thought. One day Freya meets a woman who was friends with her mother and who also happens to work for Odin. Freya stays with the mystery woman until the go to the castle where Freya is about to learn something shocking. Frigga is helping her husband calm down when his assistant comes respectfully into the room with a small girl. Frigga notices something about the girl and is reminded of her adopted son. She invited them to stay for dinner where she finds out the truth. One cold touch. Just one touch and Frigga knew what her son had been hiding all those years. p.s. This book does not follow Norse mythology. In my story, I have made Freya Lokis daughter even though his real daughter is Hel. Also, this is the soft Loki. The one that is our sweet little baby. It is set after Loki tries to take over the world and before Frigga dies. Second also, they wear more modern clothes because I'm not good at Asgardian clothes and things. P.P.S nothing is in order.
