Bellfire slammed his hands against the concrete wall on either side of me. I backed up slightly because his body was so close I could feel the heat radiating from it, and my back was flush against the wall. His anger had caused his veins to darken and his bright green eyes were clouded with the obsidian that filled his blood. "Scared yet princess? Are you afraid of the monster that hides away in this castle?" Even though the very blood coursing through his veins was blacker than midnight he didn't seem like monster to me. "No." Even as threatening and cruel as he could be to the others I could never see him as a monster. He flinched away from me, shocked by my answer. "You don't fear what I'm capable of?" His fingers trailed ever so slightly against my neck and his touch sent shivers down my spine. "How easily I could snap your fragile neck. You should be very afraid of what I could do to you." He said, his left hand slipping from the wall to my waist, pulling me to him with force, his grip tight on my hip. A devilish smirk fell across his lips "I'm the monster parents tell their kids about at night," he leaned in beside my ear his breath hot on my neck. "So why don't you run princess?" I was frozen in place, only for a brief moment. "Because you're no monster, damaged and broken maybe, but a monster?" "Never." "You're quite something Ryi." He said pulling away from me, hand dropping from it's place on my hip, his group would definitely leave a bruise. His emerald eyes met mine. That was the first time Bellfire had ever called me by my name and, it made me feel more alive then ever before. All Rights Reserved
