The creation of a Reaper (Grimm's tales)

Abdiel is a young, dedicated angel of God. He has a lot to learn. But Satan has other ideas. While on his first assignment, he falls in love with a human girl named Dacey. But, while attending a human church service, some of Satan's followers capture him and try to corrupt him. Once he returns to heaven, God and Satan decide that its best to give him a job that allow him to work for both of them. They declare him a Reaper. With a new name and armed with a deadly scythe, he is off on his new job. But soon a war will commence between heaven and hell. Which side will our young Reaper be on? Who will win the war? Will our young hero survive?
