Stella Anderson has been left with a shattered heart after her boyfriend, Jace, is killed by a drunk driver. She can barely hold on to what she has left of Jace, everything she had was ripped away. Stella knew from the 3rd date that Jace was the boy she'd spend her life with. She refused to accept it at first because she was just a Sophomore in College and he was only a Freshman. She had so many plans for her life, for a boy to just step in and distract her from that. But that day he brought her flowers and soup to her dorm after she'd texted him how awful she was feeling after a long day of classes, she was all in. She finally accepted that she, Stella Leigh Anderson, was in love with this blue eyed boy. And she knew it. But now, he was ripped away too soon and Stella has no idea how to even move on with her life, her education, her job. How does someone move on from something so tragic? But she has to. She has to pick up and move on with her life, not letting her life get torn apart by a boy she'd only met less than a year ago. Maybe fate didn't even want the two to be together. Maybe that's why this happened. Stella wants to move on and forget everything that happened. She wants to rewind to before she even met Jace. But there's just one problem..

His Rose

Adina Rose Brooks was a pretty basic girl. She got good grades, had a great group of friends, and lived a basic American life. Nothing was out of the ordinary. And nothing seemed out of the ordinary about her new nannying job the summer going into her senior year. Except for the fact that she was nannying the younger siblings of her cheater ex-boyfriend, Jace Castillo. Now, Adina had to spend her summer with her ex and his friends, and with that comes a whole other set of problems. Their past comes into focus, and different secrets coming to the forefront of her life, flipping everything on its head. Now, she has to get used to a totally new life, with more twists and turns than her normal life had. And a lot more danger. What happens when the lines between friend and foe get blurred, and love and hate morph into something else? Will she and Jace be able to work together to save the world they know, or will she wither and die before she can truly blossom as his rose?
