Lexie Billings is a junior in high school when she is noticed by an associate at Simon Cowell's record label, Syco, while performing in her school's talent show. She is immediately signed by Simon to his record label, and begins the process of becoming the next big star. What will happen when she mentions that her favorite band is One Direction, and Simon surprises her with a visit from them? And will she bond with the boys, and fulfill her dream of performing a song with them, or will they be like all of the other snobby celebrities?
