May 17th, 2014, was the day the world was remade. A sudden, unknown phenomenon swept across the globe, awakening new powers in certain individuals. These new beings were impossible, and the world came to know them as Conduits.
Seven teenagers - James Grace, Stephanie Cooper and her siblings, Tori silva, and Leo Jackson - were changed on the night the incident happened and they were changed more profoundly than others. A concentrated blast of mysterious energy known as the catalyst transformed individuals into superhumans but they were later known to the world as Conduits but they weren't the only ones who were affected.
In the shadows, two opposing forces have risen to power. The first organization named Iron Lotus seeks to train and protect Conduits, helping them master their abilities. The second organization that was built is named Shadow Syndicate and it was created with a single purpose: to eradicate those who oppose them.
Welcome to a new age of heroes. If James and his friends can't learn to control their powers, they won't just fail-they'll be consumed by the very forces that created them.
