May 17th, 2014, was the day the world was remade. A sudden, unknown phenomenon swept across the globe, awakening new powers in certain individuals. These new beings were impossible, and the world came to know them as Conduits.
Seven teenagers-James Grace, Stephanie Cooper and her siblings, Tori Silva, and Leo Jackson-were changed more profoundly than anyone else. A concentrated blast of the mysterious energy known as the Catalyst transformed them into a unique new type of Conduit. But they weren't the only ones affected.
In the shadows, two opposing forces have risen to power. One organization seeks to train and protect Conduits, helping them master their abilities. The other was built with a single purpose: to end the world.
