Ten long years have gone by since the death of The Mad Titan and the passing of the fabled Iron Man. Morgan H Stark, meanwhile, has been lost in the time; the young prodigy is struggling to find her way in the world; being the descendant to the most documented and respected man in the universe proved to be a lot harder than it sounded. Furthermore - Morgan's heavy heart did nothing to deaden her plight - she missed her dad above all else; seeing how gravely his demise strained her loved ones merely fueled the burning fire in her soul. Only, she's forced to swallow her prudent thoughts as concerns overseen by the Avengers quickly turns to imminent threat that endangers the existence of reality - despite the teams' efforts and her father's unforgettable sacrifice, tremendous peril has risen again.

When the secret to Quantum time travel slips through SHIELD's unforgiving fingers and falls into the hands of less than honorable foes, Morgan finds herself being tossed into her father's legacy of protecting and avenging all life on Earth - only now, the liability of her loved ones' lives and the responsibility of proving herself worthy of her father's mantle has fallen upon her weary shoulders.

If her dad was right, then everything would turn out the way it was supposed to - yet her doubts control her morals, and as unfortunate mission-mishaps leave her questioning where her loyalties really lie, Morgan wrestles with her inner self and her end-goal fuzzes because of it - her mission started with preserving interdimensional peace, but it appears that it's shifted to bringing the world's fallen hero back to uphold his position as Earth's greatest defender - and as Morgan's only father.

She's still to decide - betray all she knows in exchange for what she once knew, or trust in the present and risk losing the only treasurable part of her past.

Ever since she was little, Kate Carson's favorite thing to do was learn. And, after losing nearly everything and gaining a power she never wanted, she had to learn to adjust -- and she's still learning. The other Avengers have no scruples against forcing their way onto her list of loved ones, ready to help her get back to where she needs to be. Sadly, as hard they try, they can't, not fully. She needs something else, something she's too guilty to turn to. Bucky Barnes should be dead, and, according to most, he is. But Kate always refused to believe it -- and she's later proven right. He's working with Hydra against his will. But even when he escapes, everything he did for them weighs on him heavily, and he can't get rid of that burden. He feels he deserves it, anyway. When this pair cross paths and realize they're in the same boat, together, they might be able to get to the place they need to be. They might be able to finally live how they're supposed to. And, maybe, they'll find a type of love they never imagined. ~_~_~_~_~ She sits there, looking around at the toddlers she's supposed to be saving the world with - because Fury, in his great and stupid wisdom, decided to put Kate on that list. She told him no, he told her they might not even need it; she told him to take her off, that she was just a scientist, but he told her they'd need a top scientist in their corner; she told him no one on that list needed her, that they would be just fine without her, if not better, and he told her this was the best way she could use her powers if the need arose. Powers. Here, in the field, that's what they are, aren't they? That's what Coulson says. That's what Nat and Clint say. The one place they need destruction. But Kate doesn't want that. She never has. But she took her own choice away. And that infuriates her.

Roxanne Felton was Tony Stark's best friend-as was Rhodey, of course-and she was there for him whenever he needed her. Roxanne had been one of the that hadn't disappeared when Thanos snapped his fingers. Instead, she had greeted Tony with a hug when he arrived back on Earth days later. Roxanne lived with Pepper and Tony, and she helped them care for Morgan when the little girl was born. Morgan was practically Roxanne's mini-me. She and the little girl would sit and watch tv together, play pretend, or even sit and read for hours on end. When Tony died saving the world from Thanos, Roxanne was gutted. She had lost her best friend, and she couldn't handle the pain. She spent a few days thinking about everything and anything she could do to try and get Tony back for her, for Pepper, for Peter, and for Morgan. Then, after spending the entire day crying after Tony's funeral, Roxanne had come up with the perfect idea. Roxanne remembered all of the stories Tony would tell her about his parents-especially his father-and she planned to try and change how everything happened to him. She went to Bruce and he luckily had enough particles to send her back in time after he sent Steve. She planned to confront Howard Stark, and change everything bad that ever happened to Tony, or at least as much as she could prevent. She hadn't expected to fall in love with Howard Stark, or have him fall in love with her. She hadn't expected to be stuck in this time, and not have a way to get back. Though she was stuck in the past, she wasn't going to let it ruin the new future she was trying to create...

"Life is fifty wrong turns down a bumpy road. All you can hope is that you end up somewhere nice." - Punk 57 *I don't own any of the characters except the OCs. Melanie Lovett was a former CIA Agent. She decided it wasn't in the cards for her to keep doing something that didn't bring her joy. She was recruited by Tony Stark, due to her exemplary credentials, to be Morgan's nanny. Melanie decided to take the job on because it was something different and new. She didn't know that's where she would meet James Buchanan Barnes. The man who loved bumping heads with her at any chance he got. The man who killed her father when she was thirteen years old. She hated him ... almost as much as she wanted him. ‼️ Sort of Dark!Bucky in the beginning so if you're not into that then this story might not be for you. ‼️ 〰️ "Why would she be afraid of you?" Nat asked. Something in her tone had changed but I didn't know what it was. "I don't know. I just met her yesterday," I shrugged. "Hm. Well ... I'm gonna go get suited up. See ya," she ran off. What the hell? Some thing wasn't right. She was hiding something. Something about Melanie ... and I was going to find out. She was lying about something. Violence was why I existed. It was who I was. To dominate and submit all those around me. I was a tool, a monster, an enforcer. I'd done it all because it's all I'd known. All I was taught. Somewhere inside I could still feel it. Even after getting the words out. That dark sinister part of me was still there. The caged soldier inside. Something about Melanie would make it come out. Maybe because she might've also had a caged animal inside. I itched to let it out. To let them play. 〰️ Tropes found in book: Enemies to Lovers Grumpy x Sunshine Fake Dating Bodyguard He falls first. She falls harder. ⚠️ MATURE CONTENT: 18+ ⚠️ (Yes, there is smut) Dual POV ❗️Trigger Warnings:❗️ - Language - Abuse/mentions of past abuse - Violence - Drug refere

"A gift." One guard says to someone else in the room as he leaves. I groan in pain and scrunch myself into a ball, squeezing my eyes shut. Seconds later I hear shuffling and then someone is beside me. "Y/N?" Asks a voice. No- Bucky's voice. My whole body relaxes and I let out a soft breath. He's ok. ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ Staying together has always been the most important thing to Y/N Rogers. After the death of her mother left her an orphaned 15-year-old, her friendship with her older brother Steve and best friend Bucky mattered more than ever. She latched onto them, finding some bittersweet solace in their closeness. In turn, they finished raising her. The three were inseparable. Even now, six years later, nothing has changed. So when Bucky and Steve both leave to fight in the war the last thing she's going to do is stay in Brooklyn. Nothing's too far if it keeps their trio together. Not leaving everything she knows behind, not shoving down feelings she's refused to acknowledge for years, not even risking her life time and time again. It's the kind of commitment fueled by an infinite amount of love, but guaranteed to end in disaster, every single time. Sequel of Rumors of War and The Immortality War. Book Three of Five. Set during Captain America: The Winter Soldier. .•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•. Steve trails off, his shoulders sagging. "It's just not the same." "Nor should it be." I reach over, placing my hand over his. "I know things are different, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. Nostalgia is a dirty liar, Steve. It makes us forget all the horrible things that happened in the old days. And there were horrible things. We can miss the past, but I've tried very hard to also love the present. After all, in the end, it's the only thing we have." .•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•. A lot has changed for Emma Barnes and Steve Rogers since the Chitauri, and mischief god Loki, invaded New York City two years ago. She went from being a fugitive, forced to live outside the United States, and a known murderer to being an Avenger, a welcomed-American, and a hero to many around the globe. Her reputation as Lady Liberty has been reinstated, and she fights along her friends--both old and new--to maintain order in the brave, new world. After Natasha invited both Emma and Steve to re-join SHIELD, the trio have become as close as friends can be. Life is good for Emma, and she finally has some peace about her past. But nothing lasts forever. Long-suppressed secrets start to surface for the first time in decades. Secrets that have kept Emma's sworn enemy, HYDRA, alive and well inside SHIELD. And when a figure from her and Natasha's past shows up in an attempt to kill Nick Fury, Emma, Steve, and Natasha are forced to go against everything they've fought for the past two years. They're forced to become fugitives again, forced to go against the law and organization they helped create, and forced to face the ghosts from their pasts. Especially the ghost with a metal arm.
