Serafina Lucis Caelum is the last living descendant of the Lucis bloodline... or so she thought. When the Gods have created puppets of the Adagium and the Lucian Traitor bring them back to the mortal realm to wreak havoc on the newly reformed kingdom of Lucis, her life shifts for, quite possibly, the better. 

A journal that belonged to the late King Regis falls off its rightful shelf in the queen's study, opening itself to reveal the secrets that the fallen king wanted to tell his daughter in his final moments but was never able to. And once it has spoken her father's final wishes, what will Serafina do? Will she look for whatever was revealed in her father's journal? Or will she grow angry and frustrated to find her father had been lying to her for all of her life?
