The Tales of Echronia: Egon

Egon, a poor commoner living with his adopted sister, Lanah Korah, is sent headfirst into a whirlwind of chaos when he is captured during a pirate raid. Egon is rescued, only to find himself with an impossible choice: join the army in the midst of a military disaster, or lose his chance to become more than just another peasant and return to the city that had caused him so much pain. As the war wages on, Egon meets a dashing pirate from another time, a bitter hero entombed in his own failures, and an evil warlord dead set on destroying everything Egon holds dear. Can Egon rise to the challenge, and win the war? Or will he just be another tombstone in a field of the lost?
