I don't know how to write this... But I guess I'll start it like anyone else I guess... Dear Diary, This is my first day of middle school... In my tiny town, there's no junior high, so that means I have to go to the next town over. I have one friend, but she wants to be popular... and since I'm the loser everyone seems to hate, she's getting more distant. I'm leaving now, wish me luck... And I hope there's someone there that doesn't care I'm a loser, that wants to be my friend anyways

This is going to be weird. At first at least. I haven't talked to you in over a year, but the teacher said we should use this diary to express our emotions and the only one I could ever be one hundred percent honest with is you. It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong.
