With writing a story you can create the emotion and genuine reaction of people in a situation so everyone can understand. I feel that if I can tell a story real enough, then others going through the same struggles would see what the true outcome looks like. This compilation of stories includes pieces I wrote for creative writing classes, stories I started but didn't feel I could enlongate, poetry that's personal, and short pieces I wrote for fun. *Bold writing is just me either explaining it or adding my two cents*

Do you know that feeling? Nothing matters, nobody cares, life has no meaning. That feeling that you want to just give up? That all you do is use up space and annoy people? That everybody is better off without you? That's me everyday. Every single day I have to restrain myself from jumping in front of a car or taking all my pills all at once. These short stories are my thoughts when I'm alone.

Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say, "I know you're not". I have felt like this many times in my life; as a kid, teenager and as an adult. I have seen many things in my life and felt even more things that has been horribly depressing... But I got up. I stood up to walk on for another day. I dealt with my emotional amnesia the only way I knew I could and that was by writing it out into poetry. I wanted to forget my pain and forget what I was going through. I needed that cut of the blade or a pill to drink to take everything away. My poetry became both my pill and my blade... Now I share the most intimate part of myself with the world. The part of me I kept hidden in the closet. The part I never thought I would ever present to the world. Now is the time I have to stop having amnesia about my emotions. It is time to learn, to better myself and to stand up and remember the things that I shut out like a voluntary amnesia all these years. Those who are offended after reading this - f**k you! If you are sad with me and willing to cut your wrist - I know how you feel! In the beginning, I obey the heavy rain blindly. Now you're the hero of my book, the villain in the chapters, and the pain causing me art. This kind of art I am making is my favorite phase 'cause I feel everything all at once and it's all because of you.

People always say, 'There's no reason to be depressed.' or 'what do you have to be depressed about.' alot of the times its, 'you seem fine to me.' yes, I do seem fine, but I'm breaking underneath the surface. They don't see behind the mask we all hold up. 'Everyone gets these feelings.' yes they do, but some are worse than others, yet its pain nonetheless. They don't understand what goes through our minds when we do things they think is crazy, like cutting. They don't understand that when we look in a mirror, we hate what we see. Or when you cry yourself to sleep at night for reasons that are still unknown to you. Those feelings of sadness, loneliness, desperation, anxiety. Those fears of being abandoned by the ones you love the most, or being a burden because you're sharing your feelings. They don't understand..... But I do. This book is for all those people that feel even one of these. You are not alone. *TRIGGER WARNINGS*
