Earth is threatened by the sudden appearance of an extremely powerful creature that had eradicated 70% of the moon, leaving it permanently shaped like a crescent. With the government in distress, they decide to call on Yokohama's most notorious Mafia group known as The Port Mafia.

Desperate to kill the creature by end of the year, they offer the one thing that the Port Mafia couldn't refuse; and now, they send their most talented albeit most unmotivated executive to the front lines: Dazai Osamu. A mysterious 20-year old with a knack of mysterious intentions.

Strangely enough, the monster offers mankind to avert this crisis and makes a deal with the Japanese government where he is put in Kunugigaoka Junior High School, End Class; where he works as their homeroom teacher.

With the class of misfits improving everyday, how will they react once a handsome young man joins them to become their new Japanese Literature teacher? How will the students affect Dazai, as the recent death of Odasaku haunt him? And how will the class kill something they deemed un-killable?
