Alexander Hamilton and Marquis de Lafayette are the adopted children of George Washington, the newly voted leader and superior of the Eastern vampires. He tasked his adopted sons to go to the human realm, for the sole reason of making friends with one and try to convince them that not all vampires are dangerous, maybe even put an end to the hundreds of deaths of innocent vampires.
The two set off to the rift that devided the two realm. They were assigned to go to a school called "Columbia University", where they will learn more about humans and befriend one. Alexander was never ok with all this, but Lafayette seemed to be eager. The only reason why Alexander didn't want to do it, was because of the fact that he was the type of their kind that is very much affected by sunlight, making it difficult for him, on the other hand, Lafayette was totally fine, he was the type that could stay under the sun's rays without getting burned. Either way, he was going to do this, if it means stopping the feud and hatred between both creatures.
But, what happens if a certain freckled face human, ends up stealing Alexander's heart, further more, his affections? Will this even affect his determination? Or will it be a reason for him to be alarmed?

His soulmate, John Laurens, knows it too, from the overwhelming waves of sadness he feels occasionally to the aching pains in his forearms. John wishes that he could help him, but he knows nothing about his soulmate. However, the odds are in Alexander and John's favor when Alex enrolls in Kings College, where John is a student. John might find Alex, but will it be in time? Can he save him from James Reynolds? WARNINGS: There is rape, angst, depression, cursing, and lots of other stuff that is inappropriate for young reader. I can't stop you though. Basically how the soulmate thing works like: When you kiss your soulmate, a band in your skin forms on your left ring finger. You can change the band to look however you want. If your soulmate is feeling a strong emotion, your soulmate feels it too. If you get hurt, your soulmate feels a muffled version of that pain. Yes I used a Heathers quote as the title FIGHT ME (Don't actually I'm weak, there's a reason I act instead of playing sports) (Not that acting/dancing/singing isn't hard but ya). Alexander Hamilton is adopted by the Washingtons, along with Lafayette. They're both starting 10th grade, but for Alexander, it's a brand new school. Lafayette's best friend, John Laurens, has piqued Alexander's mind. But when Alexander meets him in person, he falls head over Converses. This story is a Hamilton Highschool AU that takes place in the present, which WAS 2017. It only follows mainly Alexander's thoughts and emotions. (Switching to other POVs for jokes and plot.)
