There's been an awful lot of "missing cat" posters around lately.
From precious pedigrees to scruffy ferals and strays, cats have been disappearing. Decimated and disembowelled furry bodies, showing up on street corners, filthy alleyways, and meticulously tended gardens, have been sending both the people and felines of this previously sleepy little suburban town into a state of fear and anxiety; cat owners trying desperately to keep their precious moggies safe, and the cats themselves, fearing for their lives and praying that they don't end up a soggy mound of fur and blood on a curbside somewhere.
Toby is scared, just like everyone else. But he knows that killings of this scale cannot completely be covered up. There must be some evidence somewhere. He is determined to find who's responsible.
But then, what can he do to stop it?
He's only a cat, after all.
