Lily Richman is a normal 8th grader living in the small town of Saratoga with her mom and her sister. That is until the Government Research Lab of Investigation and Experimentation, or G.R.L.I.E, shows up at her school and attempts to kidnap her, her best friends Sloan and Cori, and her big sister Maya. The 4 girls flee from the town under her mothers instructions where they find a mysterious camp that is not only prepared to protect them but teach them how to protect themselves. There the girls discover something about themselves they never knew before and Lily realizes she may be in more danger then she thought.

The door bursts open with a crash throwing the filing cabinets to the floor, papers flying everywhere. Tall muscular guys dressed in all black and armed with guns burst in swiveling back and forth until their eyes lock on me, Cori, and Sloan who are huddled up in the corner. A couple of them point there guns directly at our heads. Fear washes over me and I'm paralyzed unable to move. It doesn't matter much, even if I could move it wouldn't do me much good. The whole class is screaming and crying and hugging each other as the rest of the men continue swiveling around making sure the rest of the students make no sudden movements. It was a scene straight out of a horror movie.
"you three" one of the men says and I know hes talking to Me, Sloan, and Cori. I just know it in my gut that this ordeal was for some reason our fault. "your coming with us" Cori and Sloan both grab m hands and squeeze them tight. 'It really isn't smart to eliminate our best means of protection' I think vaguely but don't object. Five of the men come forward and seize us by the arms ripping us from each others grasp. Panic surges through me. All I know is that I'm desperately screaming for them and they are screaming for me as they drag us out of the chaotic classroom.

She's dealt with it her entire life, but something begins to change between her and Ethan. What felt like hate soon became lust. He's toxic, he's manipulative, he's mean, but somehow she's attracted to him. Of course neither wants to admit it though. Will their relationship actually work or will they both end up with their heads blown off? ------- Mature content⚠️ - mentions and some SA - cursing - abuse - depression and suicidal thoughts This is kinda dark romance. I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.

Brianna and her best friend, Aubrey, were walking home from a football match when suddenly two men came out from the bushes with masks. Aubrey was paralyzed with fright but Brianna was completely calm. "Look what we've got here." the tall and muscular man said. Brianna could see the gun which was visibly showing on his side. "This can go the easy way, or the hard way." the other said and Aubrey let out a whimper. Brianna dropped her bag and then addressed the idiots who stood in front of her. They were taken aback by her demeanor as any other person in a situation like this would be in fright, like Aubrey who was too scared to even blink her eye. "No, you listen. This can go the easy way and we won't call the police or the hard way, with you being in a prison cell with a ton of gay men." she said boldly. Brianna suddenly received a hard slap to her face which caused her to stumble and see black spots and two guns now pointed at them. Aubrey let out a scream which was quickly muffled by the other man, who seemed younger than the one who had hit Brianna. Brianna's face was red now, but not from the slap, rather from the anger which was building up from the fact that these amateur men were about to either rob or kidnap them. Suddenly, a white van appeared and before either of the girls could run, they were grabbed and thrown into the van, with the two men shutting the door and the van screeching off into the night. __________ Read to find out what happens.Complete
