Althaia grew up without knowing her dad. There we no pictures of him and her mom rarely talked about him. She has suffered from ADHD and Dyslexia, making it one of her greatest worries at school. Her ambitions for life have turned her school against her, shunning and discriminating against her. Not to mention dreams of stormy empires and golden snakes haunt her dreams every night, making her future and past more unclear than it already was. Can she stand the pressure or will she break and explode into the heir of Slytherin they believe her to be?
Jamie Reed doesn't know anything about himself or where he's come from. His past is foggy and the truth is foggier still. He's been thrust into a world he hasn't the first clue about and is having to learn how to run before walking when his new friend Althaia is under immense scrutiny. Having trust issues is a problem, but it's even worse when the person you thought was your brother has been lying and holding a truth from you. Jamie knows his brother is keeping something, but what is he willing to risk to learn the truth?
