Due to unknown reasons, Sophie Foster has just woken up in Book 1 at the museum with all her memories still intact. Now as a 12-year-old, Sophie must figure out how to make everything go right this time and try to stop the Neverseen in the process. This fanfiction was started in late 2018, right before Flashback was published. Please keep in mind that some of the ideas will reflect this. Everything in this fanfiction takes place before Legacy to avoid any confusion. Some ideas, wording, and dialogue are taken straight from Shannon Messenger's Keeper of the Lost Cities in order to make the plotline make sense. Fitz Vacker is a student at a private boarding school, under the stress of classes, homework, and social status. He's a straight-A student and is always at the top of his class. He is in his senior year, plenty of girls want him, he is a popular, and an athletic guy. Yet he feels so empty. He knows that he's missing something, but just doesn't know what. He's become desperate to find what he is missing and has resorted to asking his best friend and dorm mate, Keefe. Keefe manages to convince him that he needs to get out and have some fun! So that Friday night, they went out on the town to a club. After an hour there, Fitz decides that this was just a waste of time and that he should head back to study. He starts walking through the packed club when he bumps into a girl. He catches her just in time and begins to apologize when their eyes meet. The world stops and at that moment, there's nothing missing in his life. Everything is complete and he had never felt so filled with happiness. He stumbles out of the club a few seconds later to catch his breath outside. He has no idea what just happened or why that girl made him feel like that.
