If one ventures beyond the wood,
Beyond the forest and its shadowy hood,
They will find beneath the trees,
Nestled in the singing breeze,
The meadow in which the Faun and Saytr fair,
All reside in the pleasant air,
However, beyond the meadow told,
Are the looming mountains, icy cold,
And in the craggy peaks there stray,
A mountain stag, proud as day,
Though the stag was without companion,
His beloved sister lost, he was now abandoned,
So, down the mountain paths he went,
Traveling til his vitality was spent,
Settling down in the shadow of a willow,
The stag rested as the wind did billow,
And then, from the trees, came a handsome faun,
Elegant and graceful like the dawn,
The buck watched in silent fascination,
Until the Saytr wandered off to the meadow, a far more pleasant and sunny location,
And the stag remained in his watching station.

I'm open to any other under-represented AU's as well, so if you want to see one in another book, just message me. Enjoy! (P.S: this story deviates from the "canon" AU, So watch our for that!)
