Chills had slowly started to descend it's way up his spine as he shut his eyes tighter hoping that it would help him forget all that he had seen before. "How could someone really do that? Can they even be considered 'humans'?" Questions kept popping in his head at the same pace of the feet pounding against the cold cement. That walk had become a soft lullaby to him by now, it's what happens when one lives up to 23 and still has a crush on a childhood friend who never returned the feelings back. He started remembering all the past memories from his present life, but all felt vain. Nothing could help him concentrate at a moment like this, just HER. Her: the one who kept crossing his mind and never left until the day he would die; the one who he would always hold a bullet for; the one who would forever hold his heart; the one who was destined to kill him. In the distant reality, a shot burst through the air, bringing him back to reality, all he knew was that he was doomed and no one could save him.
"The ones who you would take a bullet for are often the ones who are behind the trigger," isn't that what they say?
