'Being Lacey Hail' follows the sometimes confusing and also a bit hilarious life of self professed teen nerd girl, Lacey Hail.
Living in the always over hanging shadow of her sister's booming success matched with her parent's comparisons is catching up with the girl of no hour, Lacey. It follows as she embarks into her senior year being weighted by her own self doubt and being oppressed by tests and future jobs.But, in the lime light of all of the commotion, Lacey's kindred spirit /inner soulmate of a best friend Astrid pulls her out bed one night and put's them both on a flight to Osaka.
Osaka holds new friends, and one very mysterious guy called Jules. 
Will the world be their oyster or just a place half a foot away from reality?
