In less than a year, Otashi, a new sickness, had spread over the world, making everybody die in less than 30 days if their soulmate didn't like them back. It was at first good news for everyone because you could tell whether or not your partner was really your soulmate, but soon enough, when scientists found absolutely no cure, it became a curse.
